In other news - I did get my hp_triangle fic done on time (go me!) so, that's two of my writing commitments for the fall over and done with. Now I have the harrypotterbang and the ginnybigbang yet to go. (Before I get too excited, I guess I should stop and remember that these are meant to be 15K and 20K respectively.)

I saw the movie tonight with cybermathwitch and the_disco_fairy. I rather adored it. It was not art, but there was so much suck-nostalgia -- (I grew up with GI Joe, ya know?) that I ended up loving it.

Even the cheese.

(I have one or two thinky thoughts about it that would lead me too far down Spoiler Lane, and I can't be arsed to bother with a cut.)

So.

I had a lot of fun going back and thanking the people who commented on my weasley_fest fic last night. I felt really rude going for nearly a month without acknowledging the comments. (I do realize that given that this was an anonymous fic exchange that it wasn't actually rude, but I never really claimed to be rational.)

This was the first fest that I'd participated in since the 2004 harry_a_thon. Note: I am a better writer now. That is a goodness. Anyway, I'm really glad I decided to sign up. The experience was really good for me. And apparently the weasley_fest is like a gateway fest, because now I'm doing another anonymous exhange, two Big Bangs, and a ldws.

I am a mad woman.

Maybe incorporating something about The Fool? That would be cool. Whether through a character, the plot, theme, or mood, etc.

If fic, you don't have to have the characters actually using tarot cards (I think I might prefer if you didn't), I'm more after the interpretations, legends, symbolism, etc. associated with The Fool and having you use those however you want to in your story.
